 Primary and secondary wepons.
As a security professional, should I carry 2 guns or 1?
I lik to carry a thigh holster usually with BDU's. But with my boots bloused, i cant get access to an ankle hoster. should I just sling an ar-15 for my primary? and use the thigh holster as my backup? thoughts from veteran officers would be great. thanks1
also, how can I modify my portable to get the police frequency of the police officers that are assigned to my area? I want to be able to have comm with them if the shit goes down. Is that legal? or should I just use a scanner

I do have a belt but its loaded with so much stuff that i need to carry ina thigh holster. i figure i'll carry a few tactcial folding knifes as back-backup. with the dynamic situations i am involved in, i need multiple solutions for a fluid enviornment.

well personally I think you shuld get wif the times and get urself a m-4 with acog as a primary, and a h&k Uesspee for backup. I always have at least 4 knives on me at any given time. I also keep my BDU side pokets full of Zip cuffs. You sound hevily armed, is ur dept hiring?

I wasn't questioning your authority, so much as the "need." And as for long hallways requiring accurate powerful firepower.... I was just asking...if the "need" is legit, fine, but gimme a break and clue us in with a few more details... Not asking for anything "classified"....
